Proyecto Hesãi

Hesãi means health or healthy in Paraguay's native language of Guarani. This project consists of working with the most vulnerable communities in Paraguay to improve access to primary health care by conducting interventions and providing infrastructure to reach this goal.

We have worked with various communities including the indigenous Aché communities of Puerto Barra and Cerro Moroti for the development of health needs assessments. In addition, we have worked with the Maskoy communities of Alto Paraguay regarding clean water access, and the landfill neighborhood of Cateura in Asunción by providing educational opportunities.
